CitizensNYC and Trinity Church Wall Street are proud to support Lower Manhattan business owners with $150,000 direct cash grants invested into 18 neighborhood businesses below 14th Street.

“Over a billion pounds of nutritious food goes to waste in New York City every year,” said Douglas Silver, co-founder of the Gotham Food Pantry, an organization that redirects food waste, after his organization received a $3,000 grant from CitizensNYC.

Mr. Deutch is the longtime Chairman of the organization’s fall fundraising event taking place this year on Monday, October 17 at its new location, Tavern on the Green.

Just in time for Small Business Week, Citizens Committee for New York City (CitizensNYC), a micro-funding organization supporting civic leaders and developing tomorrow’s leaders, is thrilled to announce that Wells Fargo has made another $250,000 investment in New York City’s small business community.
