Nicole Lee

Nicole Lee is a serial entrepreneur for over 20 years specializing in adult care, special needs advocacy, beauty, and consulting, and now a candidate for New York City Council District 31. 

She became interested in politics a couple of years ago, and while working on campaigns and consulting, learned that in order to make a difference you have to be part of the change. Nicole knows that many important decisions are made at the local level and our culture needs to be more educated and involved in those decisions. 

Nicole started in her special needs journey when her son Seth began to have delays at the age of one in 2009. Nicole founded Journey Through Seth’s Eyes whose mission is to help special needs families (parents and children ) internationally with education, resources, workshops, community outreach, consultation, housing, advocacy, and other wrap around services. 

For the past seven years, Nicole has focused on perfecting her craft in the beauty industry. Nicole founded Wink Beauty Parlour whose mission is to help women with their inner and outer beauty, focusing on self confidence, self awareness, and beauty over all.  Additionally, they provide helpful beauty tips for the hair, makeup, eyelashes, skin care, etc. Wink Beauty Parlour has received community grants to help expand their cause.
