100 Block West 118th Street Block Association is hosting its bi-annual Spring and Fall planting beautification events, bringing community members together and encouraging them to be stewards of their block. The group is removing garbage, planting in tree beds, and teaching children the basics of gardening.

100 Block West 118th Street Block Association is continuing its block beautification efforts with a cleanup of tree beds, including removal of trash and weeds. It is also renewing the topsoil in tree beds and planting new flowers. The group is caring for the trees and tree beds throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Through this project, residents are motivated to take pride in their block and maintain the physical character of the historic neighborhood.
